We’ve moved!

We have moved our project to its own website, Kids on Computers, http://kidsoncomputers.org.

We are setting up a computer lab in an elementary school in Huajuapan de Leon, Mexico.

We are a group of volunteers who want to help bring computers and free and open source software to disadvantaged kids. You can read more about us on the About page.
Goal: $13,500

Funds are being collected by Stormy Peters to pay for computer equipment and shipping to Mexico.

We need $3500 to ship 20 used computers with monitors to Mexico.

We'd love to be able to buy some or all of the computers new, which at $400 with monitor would cost $10,000.

Any additional money will be used for future school projects. We are planning one each summer in different locations.

Please consider helping out the kids from "18 de Marzo" with a donation! Thank you!
We are looking for computers that are less than four years old with at least 512 MB of memory. Both desktops and laptops would be appreciated.

We also need accessories like extension cables, ethernet cables, monitors, and a printer.
